Free to use. You only pay when you get paid

No subscription, no per-member fee, no tiers to compare. We take a share of the revenue you collect — never more than 3% — and nothing at all in a quarter where you collect nothing.

Free to use

$0

per month, forever

Every feature, every member, every admin seat.

No subscription, no setup fee, no per-seat charge, no minimum. Nothing is locked behind a tier, because there are no tiers.

The only thing you ever pay

When you get paid

≤3%

of revenue you collect

Never more than 3% — often less.

Applied to dues, event registrations, and donations you collect through the platform. Three percent is the ceiling, not a starting point.

If you earn nothing

$0

owed, no exceptions

A quiet quarter costs you nothing.

No revenue means no invoice. Run a free club for a year and never pay us a cent — the account stays open and the data stays yours.

What it actually costs, on one payment

Our fee and Stripe's fee are separate things. Stripe's cut goes to Stripe — we never mark it up, and we'd rather show you the whole sum than let you find it on a statement.

  • No monthly minimum to hit first
  • No fee on cash, checks, or grants you handle offline
  • No setup, cancellation, or export fee

No tiers to outgrow

There is one version of Member Commander and you already have all of it. Nothing unlocks later, because nothing is locked now.

Our incentive matches yours

We get paid more only when your dues, events, and donations bring in more. A bad year for you is a bad year for us.

Nothing to cancel

No contract, no notice period, no exit fee. Export everything to CSV and close the account the same afternoon.

What you get

All of it. On the free account.

This is the complete list, not the top tier of one. There is no column to the right of this with more things in it.

What you give up by staying put

Most organizations we talk to are on a legacy AMS they signed for three years, or a spreadsheet-and-form-tool stack held together by one very patient volunteer.

Directory upgrades pay for the platform four times over. Members can see their own listing traffic, so renewal is an easy conversation.

Pricing questions

The fine print, in plain language

Everything we'd want to know before putting our members' dues through someone else's software.

Is it really free to start?

Yes. Create an account, import your members, build your portal, and send your first renewal campaign without entering a card. There is no trial clock, because there is no trial — the free part doesn't expire.

What exactly does the 3% apply to?

Revenue you collect through Member Commander: membership dues, event registrations, donations, and store orders. It never applies to money you take outside the platform — cash at the door, a check mailed to your office, or a grant wired to your bank.

Why 'never more than 3%'?

Three percent is the ceiling we hold ourselves to, not an opening offer. Some organizations and some revenue types come in under it. Nobody comes in over it, and we don't raise it on you mid-year.

What about payment processing fees?

Stripe charges its standard rate — currently 2.9% + 30¢ for cards, 0.8% capped at $5 for ACH — and that money goes to Stripe, not to us. On a $100 payment you'd see $3.00 to Member Commander, $3.20 to Stripe, and $93.80 in your account.

So what's the catch for a large organization?

Honestly, at very high volume a percentage can cost more than a subscription would have. If you're processing millions a year, tell us — we'd rather agree a rate that works than have you discover the math later and leave.

Do we own our data?

Always. Export everything — members, payments, events, emails — to CSV at any time, no request required. If you leave, you take the whole file with you and owe nothing on the way out.

It costs nothing to find out

Create an account, import your member list, and send a real renewal. You won't be asked for a card, and if the money never comes in, neither does an invoice.
